Tampa Bay Day Trip: The Fort De Soto Park

Monday, January 15, 2018
The Fort Desoto State Park it is a small island at the lowest point of Tampa Bay. You can call it a beach, but Fort De Soto Park is much more than a beach. We were surprised at its size. This charming park provides a lovely beach, with the softest white sand and good shelling. I couldn’t find any sand dollar but I’m told that there are many to be found. There were not too many people, all scattered around, so we have the feeling of having the beach by ourselves. It is also a paradise for bird lovers; especially the water birds are numerous. Wildlife watching is so much fun and we saw a few dolphins, fish and pelicans. Take some food and have a nice picnic by the water or walk out to the pier and watch people catching some fish. Always a perfect day out.

Tampa Bay Trip: Visiting Clearwater Florida

Monday, December 18, 2017
When the winter months hit in certain areas of the United States, the birds begin to fly south and head towards Florida, which is the lowest and warmest point of the United States. It isn't just the birds that are migrating southward though. People do the same thing. There are several reasons that people make this yearly trip in the winter months to spend time in Florida. The most common reason is that it is just warmer in Florida than it is in the northern states. However it gets a little chilly in Florida too, but it isn't anything compared to what you would get if you live in North. People don't really like to deal with it.

It was a a spring break when we went to Tampa Bay. We love this vacation so much , because of the nice weather and it's relaxing atmosphere in many parts of Florida. -- Located at:  1 Causeway Blvd Clearwater, Florida 33767

Clearwater wouldn’t be Clearwater without its beach.

The Florida Aquarium

Monday, July 13, 2015
I have been to a different aquariums a few times. This one is actually smaller than most I have been in. However this aquarium is presented very nicely throughout on the inside. It is a great place for families and young children to visit. There is a lot of educational things for the young ones to learn about the marine life. There is also a nice water play area outside for the young ones to enjoy. The cafe area has great food selections to choose from and reasonably priced. This is a must visit when coming to Tampa. Learn about the Tampa Bay ecosystem from Swamp to Coral Reef. They also have a swim with the Sharks program for those that feel adventurous.

New York Yankees Spring Training

Sunday, March 31, 2013
Last spring of 2011 we went to  Yankees Stadium in Tampa, Florida to watch the Yankees Spring Training. They moved their stadium to Tampa after the previous venue closed. The ballpark is a beautiful place to visit. The weather is great that day, and if you're from the North like us, you'll be happy to escape the lingering winters by spending a long weekend down in sunny Tampa. Lucky for us our seat is six rows close to the field and right beside the bullpen. Where you can see the players warming up and doing sprints. We had so much fun and we're planning to visit again anytime soon.

Fort De Soto Park

My husband and I visited Tampa Bay Florida late in March 2011. It was a week vacation to escape the cold winter in Buffalo. On our first day we just stay at Tampa and meet some friends, we go to Renaissance Festival and have lunch at Golden Coral Buffet. We also visit the Busch Garden and Adventure Island. The next day we went to Clearwater Beach - Pier 60 it was absolutely great! Parking wasn't a problem; it was 10 dollars for the evening. The view is really pretty; and everyone was really friendly. I would definitely recommend Pier 60 to anyone. It was such a relaxing, calm and wonderful visit! In fact, it was one of my favorite things we did while on vacation.

The Florida Cuisine

Wednesday, February 1, 2012
I most of the time  trying to be a healthy eater and my husband meals reflect it. But if we were on vacation like this  "the heck" forget about diet and follow what we craved . Ha ha! Every time we're on vacation besides the good service at the hotel we also concern about how good the food is... FOOD is the source of a Best Vacation but unnecessary to spend way to far from you budget.  Here are some of the meals that we had during our Spring Vacation at the Sunshine State Florida.
