Leaving the Beaten Track in Style and Comfort

Monday, January 14, 2019

Those of us old folks who went on holiday with our families in a caravan when we were kids, might not have thoroughly enjoyed the sparsity of creature comforts, though the chances are that we still have very vivid recollections of that vacation to this very day. Going on holiday with a caravan provided the opportunity to get away from the hotels and city centers, instead getting much closer to nature and enjoying multiple locations. Caravan parks often used to be little more than an open field, with some very basic amenities, so roughing it a little was pretty much to be expected. Those who take a caravan vacation today have all of the benefits the holiday has always provided, but the level of comfort has improved dramatically.

Caravan Park Resorts
Many caravan parks today have a range of facilities and attractions which make them more akin to a complete holiday resort than simply somewhere to park up for the night. Swimming pools and playgrounds for the kids, along with organized activities, will keep the children entertained and amused, while the gym or a spa treatment await the adults. Many are pet friendly, so the dog or other pets are able to come along and enjoy the holiday, saving you from the problem of getting someone to look after them, while you are away, which is a much tougher ask, when looking for a hotel.

Caravan Design
The caravan of today is a far cry from its predecessor, where the word basic might have been very appropriate, offering instead pretty much every creature comfort you can think of. A modern caravan is far more likely to have been individually designed to a customer’s specifications, than mass produced as in years gone by. Different people have different needs, with a retired couple looking to have their comforts provisioned for, while a family with children require others. Experienced caravan dealers in Melbourne fully understand this, with their experience invaluable in helping you select the options perfect for your needs.

Great Investment
Buying a brand new caravan makes a lot of financial sense, as most people going on vacation can easily spend thousands of dollars on their holiday accommodation, and have nothing but memories to show for it. With the caravan, you can just pack up what you need and go away whenever you want to, as often as you like, saving a great deal of money every time, while still having a valuable asset afterwards. You can take as much with you as you like, without having to worry about excess baggage fees, so the kid’s toys and bikes can come along too.

Greater Freedom
A caravan holiday allows you the freedom to go where you want, stop whenever you feel like it and really enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors. You can change your plans along the way, without any financial penalty, with rates for parking up very reasonable, and in some places totally free. The comforts built in mean that you have your own little home away from home, ready to roll out for another adventure whenever you feel the urge to get away from it for a while, and there is no need to have to live a little rough whatsoever.

  2. I might just like traveling this way if there is a pool at the park. The pool would be great for the kids to get out that excess energy.
