Visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Saturday, October 27, 2018
Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, spend a few minutes seeing the stars. You never know who you might find or who you might see while doing so. Visiting the Hollywood Walk  of Fame reminds me of New York Times Square and the Las Vegas Strip, with a endless cast of characters and imitators. I really enjoyed coming up to a star whose name I recognized, the whole entire walk is very historic.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the most famous and most visited attractions in the Los Angeles area. This iconic strip attracts more than 10 million visitors annually hoping to find a star who has inspired them and their family. Per Wikipedia, today the Walk of Fame included 2500 stars and counting ,each star is a pink terrazzo five-point stars rimmed with brass block letter.  If you are looking for a specific star, you can try Google for the location.

Downtown Hollywood

Bronze star-plaques embedded in pink and charcoal terrazzo squares.
The famous Hollywood Boulevard in California.
Surprisingly found this star easily.

Actor's in disguised as the latest or trendy movie character so you can take pictures with them for a fee.  Like Alan and baby Carlos from Hangover!

Though I am a little bit overwhelm by the amount of homeless people within the Hollywood Blvd. This did not reflect the glamorous persona of  Hollywood.  Overall, if you love celebrities, or want to take a "walk down memory lane" and see all of the old TV and movie stars names in the pavement, this attraction might be worth seeing for you.

Hope you find  this attraction a fun place to go while in Los Angeles,   feel free to share it and don't forget to follow us for more.

  1. I've been there a few times and it's so cool to see all stars along the sidewalk. I was surprised my first time that it was just right there on the street lol.

  10. I went to the walk of fame last year! There was a celebrity there though so there was a lot of security and people trying to get pictures. So I didn't stay long.

    1. We have a tight schedule on this trip and we almost not make it to Hollywood. But I am glad we stop by and seen it even just a couple of hours. I agree when people say no trip to LA without stopping by at Hollywood Blvd.

    1. I know right we should all go there at least once in our life just to see the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. I am an open minded traveler and I love going on a place that I've never been too (if I got a chance why not? ).

    1. Yes it is still there. In my opinion people mainly tourist go there at least once just to say they we're in Hollywood and have seen the celebrity stars. If you ask me , I can say we can now check this place to our long list to visit while in LA and can go forward to the next one. Though I would love to hike the HOLLYWOOD sign that sounds adventure to us :)
