Scenic Autumn Drives in the Northeast

Friday, November 2, 2012
The Autumn season is the perfect time to take a road trip. Due to cooler weather and vibrant colors of trees. It was a Labor day weekend when we decided to go for a road trip. Our drive begins in East Tennessee, Virginia and continues to Maryland where you can explore the beauty of the trees.  We stop over to my inlaws in Pennsylvania after then we continue all the way up to Western New York. It took us 12 hours half way (not included the overnight and stop over).  Here are some of the photos that I took while we were on a driving mode :)

  1. Color of autumn is very welcoming! We usually think of bountiful harvest in our place with those lovely orange and yellow colors. Happy Skywatch Friday!

  12. Those are truly awesome, thanks for sharing with us, i might not be able to see them in this lifetime. You are lucky and privileged, if only to see the autumn colors. I dream of walking barefoot on the fallen leaves, but my visits to temperate climes always coincide with spring, so am still dreaming! I share you description about travelling, i wish i can do that too at my every whims!

  19. Hi Leah, I am enjoying seeing some of your travels. Of course, I look at Tennessee first... You picked a good time to see the Fall colors --in TN/VA/MD, etc.... Great set of pictures...

We took a trip to Ohio the middle of October and saw some of the prettiest Fall colors I saw all Fall...

    Thanks for stopping by.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
