Two years ago we went to Murrieta to visit my husband's relatives. Murrieta is a city in southwestern Riverside County, California. Four hours away from Vegas; an hour away to San Diego and Los Angeles. It was a sunny day and we really enjoying the trip. We stay at his Aunt house, and they gave us a tour in the old town Temecula. We enjoy the irresistible charm of their friendly tasting rooms and savor the hundreds of award-winning wines at Temecula Valley Winery. We check a couple of stores while we were there and were happy to see the House of Jerky. This is a pretty cool little place with a lot of different jerky flavors. We bought a pack of the beef and buffalo jerky. Whether you're looking for a quick day trip - or planning to stay for a couple of days - there's plenty to see and do here in Temecula Valley Wine Country.
The purpose of our visit is, for me to meet my husband's relatives especially his Grand mother who happen that time she was celebrating her 85th birthday. They welcome me with so much love as the whole Gordon Clan in California gather together and spend time with us. I personally touch by grandma Dorothy she is a perfect image of a loving grandma. She is so happy to see us, she gave my husband a kiss and it touches my heart how they were really so connected to each other after long years of not seeing each other.I did'nt know that was the first and the last time we will gonna see her. A week after we left she passed away, she has no sign of any sickness. It was a sudden death, my heart is in grief that time. She is a great woman even we just met in a short period of time. I always have a very soft heart to elderly because both of my grandparents died when I was still a toddler, I didn't even got a chance to meet them. I knew in my heart Grandma Gordon is in peace now and watching over her children and grand children.
Here are some photos that we took during our trip to California, it was beautiful day for a road trip.
