My husband and I attended the Hot Air Balloon Festival at Island Park in Wellsville, New York. This annual festival began in the Western NY region and has continued attracting visitors from all over. It is a three-day event festival starts in mid July. Admission is free. Marvel at the hot air balloons as they take off from Island Park and create a magnificent rainbow of color in the sky. The balloons travel along the Genesee River and above the rolling green hills and fields in Western NY.
