A Day Tour in Los Angeles on a trip to California

Sunday, February 24, 2019
Los Angeles is one of the biggest cities in the United States, and its because it is such a big city, its attractions are often quite far apart. This means that using a car can be the best option for some visitors to get around the hundreds of square miles that make up Los Angeles.  However some visitors choose not to drive. The Metro, which includes the bus system is an alternative option. This public bus system runs more than 1,500 buses on 150 bus lines throughout the city.

We stopped by in LACMA on a Saturday afternoon. There was a fairly amount of people snapping photos. I did hear the best time to take pictures here are in the evening, where you can see the lamp posts are lit, but I did find it difficult to find good lighting for selfies. Very tough to also get a solo pic without others being in it, but it is what it is. We did not stay that long but if you have ample time and not familiar with the parking, you can parked in an underground garage close by for maybe an hour f or $16.

Can't say you've gone to LA if you haven't visited the Urban lights!

California's Pacific Coast Highway Roadtrip

Friday, November 9, 2018
When it comes to America’s best road trips, it’s hard to beat the Pacific Coast Highway. Driving this route means hours cruising along stunning hillside overlooking the Pacific ocean and vista points for sparkling beach views. That is why, we are so thrilled when we drove for the first time to this iconic Highway.

You can start your trip from San Francisco to San Diego or San Diego to San Francisco.  In addition  you can extend your road trip by adding on the Oregon and Washington state.  Depending on whether you do only California or all three states.  I advise you to take your precious time to really enjoy all the charming beauty of  Pacific Coast road trip.

Visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Saturday, October 27, 2018
Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, spend a few minutes seeing the stars. You never know who you might find or who you might see while doing so. Visiting the Hollywood Walk  of Fame reminds me of New York Times Square and the Las Vegas Strip, with a endless cast of characters and imitators. I really enjoyed coming up to a star whose name I recognized, the whole entire walk is very historic.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the most famous and most visited attractions in the Los Angeles area. This iconic strip attracts more than 10 million visitors annually hoping to find a star who has inspired them and their family. Per Wikipedia, today the Walk of Fame included 2500 stars and counting ,each star is a pink terrazzo five-point stars rimmed with brass block letter.  If you are looking for a specific star, you can try Google for the location.
