Yankees Spring Training

Sunday, March 31, 2013
Baseball is one of the famous sports in the United States,  and being married to a man from Buffalo you have to embraced their tradition of being the sports fanatic. I don't mind watching sports but unlike them I'm not obsess to it, oh well I'm a woman and not naturally born here so I have an excuse. The New York Yankees are an American professional baseball team based in Bronx, NY that competes in Major League Baseball in the American League's East Division. Due in part to their success, the Yankees have garnered enormous popularity worldwide. They have won 18 division titles, 40 American League pennants, and 27 World Series championships, all of which are Major League Baseball records impressive indeed.

Last spring of 2011 we went to  Yankees Stadium in Tampa, Florida to watch the Yankees Spring Training. They moved their stadium to Tampa after the previous venue closed. The ballpark is a beautiful place to visit. The weather is great that day, and if you're from the North like us, you'll be happy to escape the lingering winters by spending a long weekend down in sunny Tampa. Lucky for us our seat is six rows close to the field and right beside the bullpen. Where you can see the players warming up and doing sprints. We had so much fun and we're planning to visit again anytime soon. I am also showing some of my photos when I join our company softball competition. It was a good experience for me playing with my bosses and co-worker.

We love watching the Baseball but my husband is not really a fan of a particular team nor am I. We simply enjoy watching the games and rooting for whatever team we want. Lol.
