10 Free Things To Do in Las Vegas

Around the world, Las Vegas is known as adult Disneyland, not the one that was made for families. And yet over the years Las Vegas has worked to broaden its appeal to a wider market that includes families with children.  Each hotel in Vegas is a miniature theme park. The energy, the bright lights, amazing hotels and sights and more can be found in or around them. One of the great things about Vegas is there is always something new in town to check out.  Although some of the sights may be very expensive, luckily there is some attractions that  you don’t really need to pay for anything in Sin City to have a great time.  Walking down The Strip of Vegas is the only way to truly feel how big Vegas is.  Just remember wear comfortable shoes, the Strip is very, very long if you get too tired, you can always grab a taxi cab to take you back to your hotel.

We had so much fun just walking up and down the Strip and checking out different hotels.  I made a list for you  for 10 Free Things to do while in Vegas.

1The Venetian Hotel and Casino
It is said that Venice is one Europe's most romantic and is the most beautiful city.  To be able to experience it you have to visit the city in person as you'll get a better appreciation of the amazing waterways and interconnecting bridges throughout this city. To those who can't make it to Venice, Italy, The Venetian Hotel Las Vegas delivers some of the scenery along with its Las Vegas tweaks.  Make memories with your loved one by taking a gondola ride through Venice's narrow waterways while admiring the Renaissance era's multi-colored structures or travel across the Grand Canal watching the summer sunset.     Even though  these replicas are smaller in scale when compared with the originals and they're mostly made from fiberglass not stone but you'll get the idea.

2.  The New York New York Hotel and Casino
Inspired by the famous energy and landmarks of New York City. The New York-New York Hotel & Casino  featured Big Apple icons such as:  the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. This replica of New York City as a hotel is unbelievable. Within the hotel, you will  discover all the energy and excitement of the city that never sleeps, It offers   entertainment that is suitable for all ages, take a ride on their  roller coaster or visit the New York skyline including the Statue of Liberty and walk under the arches of the Brooklyn Bridge.  This hotel has unique dining and retail destinations including a two-story flagship Hershey's Chocolate World, Shake Shack, Tom's Urban, and I Heart New York-New York.

3.  The Luxor Hotel and Casino
Can't make it to Egypt? No worry, Vegas has it all! The Luxor Hotel and Casino is one of the most recognizable hotels in  Las Vegas because of  this vibrant Egyptian theme casino resort,  its interior walls of a pyramid style tower and  twin ziggurat towers.  It has two hotel buildings, the Pyramid and the Tower:  the Tower is newer but i think the Pyramid is pretty cool because your window in the room is at an angle. You can look forward to outrageous shows, tasty food and full on nightlife and casino.

4.  Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino
I might have a little bias towards this hotel because I love the movie “The Hangover”. It was a blast walking and recalling the naughtiness of the characters in this movies. Like the ancient Roman era it celebrates, everything about this place is extravagant and over the top. Caesars Palace is one of the first places that comes to mind when I think of Las Vegas.  This iconic Las Vegas Resort was one of Vegas first themed, luxury-style resorts in Las Vegas Strip for decades.

5.  The Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino
This hotel theme is Oceanic Island paradise set in the desert of Las Vegas. Each hotel room has beautifully gold leafed windows. One of the attraction in this hotel is the Shark Reef Aquarium.  Here you will experience the undersea ocean of fantastic sights. A face-to-face with some of the earth's most fascinating creatures in North America's only predator-based aquarium and exhibit. See sharks of all kinds, along with saw-fish, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies and the rare golden crocodiles. It's a reasonable size aquarium considering that it is attached to the hotel. Mandalay Bay Resort pools are everything . They have a huge wave pool, multiple beaches and lots of Jacuzzi's with bars and music. Guests in all ages love the lazy river. The hotel itself has a wide variety of restaurants and attractions to choose from, and I find that it is generally less smoky than a lot of other hotels on the strip.

6.  The Bellagio Hotel and Casino
Simply built white hotel that is appealing to the eye. This hotel is surrounded by luxury shops  and in front of all of this is a large pond where they have their famous fountains show , that dances to various tunes. Flowers and water theme Bellagio hotel has the most peculiar foyer in the city - the ceiling is all covered with multi-colored glass flowers. Another amazing feature of Bellagio Hotel is the fountains dance in front of the hotel, enhanced by music and light.  Incredible Botanical Gardens with gorgeous flowers and plants that they change every season and arrange in interesting animal-like shapes.

7.  The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino
Treasure Island is one of the many massive casino hotels that have several gazillion entertainment, restaurant, and bar options  throughout the building.  If you are driving down the strip, Treasure Island is the one with the big pirate ship out front. In October 1993, Treasure Island was a heavily themed pirate hotel, and specifically designed as a family-friendly resort with amenities for children  However, the property was upgraded to a AAA Four Diamond resort in 1998, removed most of the kid-friendly amenities, and began to cater more to adults. Treasure Island is connected by tram to The Mirage as well as a pedestrian bridge to the Fashion Show Mall, and within walking distance of all the best dining, shopping and entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip.

8.  The Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino
Located in the heart of the Strip making it the center of the Las Vegas excitement. The Monte Carlo Hotel Las Vegas contemporary decor stands out for its Mediterranean feel.  The hotel, named to invoke the Place du Casino in Monte Carlo, features chandelier domes, marble floors, neoclassical arches, ornate fountains, and gas-lit promenades. There is a wave pools and lazy rivers, crisp cocktails and private cabanas at Monte Carlo perfect for tropical retreat. The Blvd Plaza located in front of the resort is the ultimate social gathering spot and ideal setting to relax, re-energize and socialize. It features a variety of unique culinary venues and a casual, lively environment. The resort is neighbor to the all-new Park, an immersive, outdoor destination for dining and entertainment.

9.  The MGM Grand Hotel and Casino
One of the largest best Las Vegas Strip casino hotels, MGM Grand. Depending on your preference, it might be standard Petite yet spacious King Room for business trips, or a breathtaking two-story Skyline Terrace Suite with marvelous views of the Las Vegas Strip, there is something to meet everyone's need.  Featuring more than a dozen of award-winning restaurants from the sophisticated Italian cuisine at Fiamma restaurant to the folksy Starbucks for a quick bite. Nightlife and entertainment at this famous Las Vegas Strip hotel attract crowds of enthusiastic party-goers every night.

10.  The Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas
Stay in royal accommodations in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Excalibur offers everything you would expect from a Las Vegas hotel.  It may look like a castle, but Excalibur isn’t quite a step back into medieval times—it’s got a sprawling casino flickering with countless slot machines and table games. In addition to casino, amenities include 4 heated pools, a 13,000 square foot spa, a fitness room, and an arcade. There are several restaurants and bars plus live entertainment.

  17. The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace have my absolute favorite art gallery from landscape photographer Peter Lik. Like, every time I go to Vegas I HAVE to hit it up, even though I could NEVER afford any of his full-time prints. And the Bellagio is my all-time favorite, because it hosts IMO the best Cirque EVER, O. I saw it when I was 18 and like...it changed my life! So great. Now I want to go back!
