It includes a working roundhouse, refurbished cars and engines, and knowledgeable rangers. Across the way is a trolley museum. We didn't come on a train ride day unfortunately but the machine shop guided tour and self guided yard tour took up a lot of our time. So much to see if you are a fan of railroad history. There was no entrance fee which is a plus.<br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Steamtown National Historic Site, is located in downtown Scranton, PA. Truly a beautiful place that will leave you breathless. And there are lots to do. If you are visiting as family group, there's definitely something for you and the kiddos to do beyond Niagara Falls nearby. All of the power of the water flowing and imagining people have gone over the US side in a barrel and survived. Spectacular that you deserve to walk around and take so many selfies. There's also the boat ride and zip line too. We've been here numerous times for couple of years, just to visit on a typical day. We really enjoyed our experiences here. The zoo is located outside of downtown Nashville. I highly recommend ordering tickets before arriving to the zoo or get the Annual Pass. Waiting in line wasn't fun and wasted a good amount of time. No discounts for tickets other than if a person is a veteran or member of the zoo. The movie had so much heart and is a favorite of mine. This real UP House is an exact replica of Carl and Ellie’s house; except it won't float away.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">This house was built in 2011 and the local developer actually acquired the exclusive rights and authorization from Walt Disney Corporation to build it. This house has the exact same colors, style and charm that Carl and Ellie's home had too. The developer, Blair Bangerter, who built this home actually had no plans to sell the home but ended up selling it to the Hamblin family.<br /><br /></p><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEYNlHm-tt0NNnqGHF7lMJCBc5H_WlYa0z3nqHR_GU1T1_3_MozbywLaIqjkyAo0gg1rvdie1eBXwddovhIG4awuIuv4mCslNzOAR74vDD2DZKaVv-V8QTmm1eWBrbrafsPEPXJXvfaTzW3g1XilNrHanHZ_57teYWBjgW7RTZVfIlwl4IXtoLSIfW/s800/IMG_2513.JPG" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEYNlHm-tt0NNnqGHF7lMJCBc5H_WlYa0z3nqHR_GU1T1_3_MozbywLaIqjkyAo0gg1rvdie1eBXwddovhIG4awuIuv4mCslNzOAR74vDD2DZKaVv-V8QTmm1eWBrbrafsPEPXJXvfaTzW3g1XilNrHanHZ_57teYWBjgW7RTZVfIlwl4IXtoLSIfW/s16000/IMG_2513.JPG" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: x-large;">Adventure is out there!<span><a name='more'></a></span></span></td></tr></tbody></table><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Located in Salt Lake City suburb of Herriman, Utah about 35 minutes away from Salt Lake City. </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">Before the pandemic, fans of the movie were able to book a photo shoot inside this house and take photos for a fee. One of the best beaches in the Florida. We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel Destin Miramar Beach. We were very impressed with the hotel, the complimentary breakfast with a delicious buffet as well as made to order omelets, and eggs. It comes with two complimentary drinks per guest, this was a definite bonus! The hotel is very clean and very open concept which we loved. We enjoyed the beach and the restaurant across the road was very convenient as well. Excellent customer service. The room was very comfortable and spacious. This farm far exceeded my expectations, very well developed and maintained. From the petting zoo to the slides, we love all the activities that they offer. I recommend visiting any time of year, as they have a cute splash pad in the summer months and pumpkin patch in the Fall. There is so much to do; you could make a whole day out of a trip here.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;"> Lucky Ladd Farm address: 4374 Rocky Glade Rd, Eagleville, TN 37060-4109</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhewVL9asXIF6WPHNUV9DX534cVlP7VZcJpY4lKXNDvEk6WlemGKUSp_uxOzlroekyg1GKfhG4UL_JDKKBXm413b-PTtCdMTOft_F7lNzpA3lxNMnIc9HIqsKl1554PPIjpkskdsPmNEqrfbOjv2FZrM7R3wxx5kq9tYh5EG-X5KEVe8Q4FZcfTRPvR=s800" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhewVL9asXIF6WPHNUV9DX534cVlP7VZcJpY4lKXNDvEk6WlemGKUSp_uxOzlroekyg1GKfhG4UL_JDKKBXm413b-PTtCdMTOft_F7lNzpA3lxNMnIc9HIqsKl1554PPIjpkskdsPmNEqrfbOjv2FZrM7R3wxx5kq9tYh5EG-X5KEVe8Q4FZcfTRPvR=s16000" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Welcome Signage<br /><span><a name='more'></a></span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"> </span><br /></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhW5aPpDC3v8p--h849CglQCtEtjFmAcg9FsC7tKHmHwhHyOATF7Nm_vbdAY9UCDgAmHl0Jey7AAaNmXhyx5fHV3TwlkkpgbFH2nVounAY8x82q2tR84v05TkDpKu8UCY_59_p_lywbUQtmHr9yAg2rb2DVIBmlNUhDUOljlX3L93B4bbmmWOw6wn16=s800" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhW5aPpDC3v8p--h849CglQCtEtjFmAcg9FsC7tKHmHwhHyOATF7Nm_vbdAY9UCDgAmHl0Jey7AAaNmXhyx5fHV3TwlkkpgbFH2nVounAY8x82q2tR84v05TkDpKu8UCY_59_p_lywbUQtmHr9yAg2rb2DVIBmlNUhDUOljlX3L93B4bbmmWOw6wn16=s16000" /></a></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">Our one year old son had a blast. Toddlers will enjoy the sunshine and fresh air and you’ll enjoy getting a tan. Just like our little boy this is probably our toddler’s first real vacation... at least where he is more mobile. So we let him lead the way, get dirty and have fun. If you let your little one lead their way you may be surprised at where you end up.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jhQMOWhxpVc/YSfBFvg-ONI/AAAAAAAAMoA/sATvejtCnPgn5fr8Wj9k_q3qV9zLgS55gCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_4186.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="650" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jhQMOWhxpVc/YSfBFvg-ONI/AAAAAAAAMoA/sATvejtCnPgn5fr8Wj9k_q3qV9zLgS55gCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4186.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr align="justify"><td class="tr-caption"><span style="font-size: large;">It was early April when we took our boy on a spontaneous trip to the beach to unwind and change of scenery as well.</span> <span><a name='more'></a></span><br /></td></tr></tbody></table><p></p><p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TrNVfT9k6ck/YSfBenR2Q3I/AAAAAAAAMoI/EZa9eT15v4IPBmU_UdZqZehLomKGCs3iQCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_4164%2B%25282%2529.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="650" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TrNVfT9k6ck/YSfBenR2Q3I/AAAAAAAAMoI/EZa9eT15v4IPBmU_UdZqZehLomKGCs3iQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4164%2B%25282%2529.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr align="justify"><td class="tr-caption"><span style="font-size: large;">One of our favorite things to have at the beach is this rolling wagon.

Remember the sun is like 10x more powerful along the coast even on overcast days. I highly suggest bring along a beach umbrella or tent. I know you’re toddler is not going to stay under the umbrella most of the time - but they will seek it out once they start getting hot. That’s why it’s also important to try to get them to wear a hat, put a rashguard bodysuit with a UPF 50 or greater on them to protect their arms and shoulders. Try not to stay right on the beach for more than 45 minutes at a time.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">Also, going out early in the day helps to not only beat the crowds but also makes it so nap time is the drive home! <br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BL5O6qIf2xI/YSfBnlAuYyI/AAAAAAAAMoY/_x1dIMYPmmUc0PpAXuTzZ06-4uOca1wTwCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_4191.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="650" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BL5O6qIf2xI/YSfBnlAuYyI/AAAAAAAAMoY/_x1dIMYPmmUc0PpAXuTzZ06-4uOca1wTwCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4191.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">What are your tips for taking little ones to the beach? People working from home. People having to cancel their vacations, and businesses communicating over video conferences instead of in person. No one expected the world to look like this. Thankfully, we are starting to get back to life before covid-19, and normal activities are now starting to resume, including that of business travel. Whilst it was considerably easy to hop on a plane to fly your destination, some people may be skeptical of interacting with hundreds of people so soon. Due to this, many are now starting to look at chartering private jets, with companies like <a href="https://jettly.com" target="_blank">Jettly</a>, to complete any business tasks they have. So, now that business travel is starting to get underway again, how is this a safer mode of transportation than that of commercial aircraft? Well, we’re about to find out.<span></span></p><a name='more'></a><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b> </b></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>No Waiting in Queues</b><br /><br />Some like this, some don’t. If you’re a vacation goer, this is all part of the fun. If you’re a businessman or woman waiting to board a plane because you have an important conference to attend, this could be the last thing that you need to face. Depending on how long the queue is, you run the risk of being late for the plane. This could have severe consequences for your reputation as a business if you are late for your meeting or conference. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">You won’t have this worry with a private jet though. Most jets take off and land at smaller aviation airports, meaning that you won’t have the hustle and bustle of airport crowds. You can arrive at the time of your flight, without having to stress about the fact that you could be late due to the actions of everyone else around you. When you are free of stress, you will be able to focus on any urgent business matters that need attending to.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b> </b></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>Only Mixing with People in Your Bubble</b><br /><br />When you are traveling with a commercial airline, you will not only have the group of people that you are traveling with, but you will also be traveling with hundreds of other people too. Whilst you may not like it, unfortunately, you won’t have any control over who is and who isn’t on your flight. That is just the risk you have to take when it comes to traveling this way. As business travel is only starting to take off again, some people may be skeptical about mixing with hundreds of other people quite so soon.<br /><br /><a href="https://www.traveldailynews.com/post/seven-benefits-of-traveling-on-a-private-jet" target="_blank">By deciding to charter a private jet</a>, you will be able to hire a plane that has the right number of seats for your desired number of passengers. This means that you will only be integrating with the people you want to. They may be part of your work bubble, or they may be part of your family bubble. By doing this, you will know for sure what their travel history is and who they have interacted with over the past few months. Traveling via this mode of transportation with people purely from your bubble will help to make business travel easier to manage in this new normal.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b> </b></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><b>Better Concentration Levels</b><br /><br />Now that restrictions are lifting, more and more people are taking advantage of this and jetting off to the many countries that are on the green list. This is their right, of course. But if you are traveling solely for business purposes, this could influence how much work you can get done during your trip. If this is urgent, the last thing you need to deal with is too many distractions because it will be almost impossible to get it all done.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The better option for businessmen and women to consider is to travel on an aircraft that only accommodates a certain number of people, preferably just those you’re traveling with. This could be very beneficial as you will all have similar jobs to complete, and if you all have a deadline, you will spend your time focusing on the task at hand. Whilst you may have some distractions from those asking questions, it won’t be as bad as what you could experience on a commercial flight. There you have it. These are just some of the reasons that can help you to conclude whether flying with a chartered private jet is the best option when it comes to business travel. Have you taken this route before? If you have, we would love to hear your thoughts.<br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p>Travel Questhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06046831433096509276noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-839584615548631304.post-72044986064455595692021-06-09T13:46:00.003-04:002021-06-09T14:10:47.756-04:00Visiting Yellowstone National Park<p style="text-align: justify;">Everyone has to go to Yellowstone Nations Park. It is the world's first national park and one of the largest it is spread throughout 3 states Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Luckily you will always be in the mountain time zone, so really does it matter whether you are in Montana, Idaho, or Wyoming? Just know that you are in a very special place. So close to so much geothermal activity and incredible nature. Out of all the national parks we've visited, Yellowstone has the most wildlife and diverse terrain, there is so much to do here. Conveniently enough, there is loop road you can follow to visit all of Yellowstone's main attractions.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">We got to go in early October which is the off season. There were still a fair amount of people there. But I believe covid had everyone wanting to go outside. Never an issue finding parking, pulling over or seeing any of the animals. Everyone that was visiting was respectful to the animals and the other visitors allowing room for everyone to enjoy the park. </p><p> </p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uykh8G9RRcA/YMDma_QOggI/AAAAAAAAMb8/k8q1KsOLh7QAEgnjDjPsWwge7SrehuoMwCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2574.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uykh8G9RRcA/YMDma_QOggI/AAAAAAAAMb8/k8q1KsOLh7QAEgnjDjPsWwge7SrehuoMwCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2574.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr align="justify"><td class="tr-caption"><span style="font-size: large;">The pictures do not do it any justice, the colors of this hot spring are so vivid in person. <span><a name='more'></a></span></span></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yKKs6XktPg8/YMDm2dBsxEI/AAAAAAAAMcI/XIge2ZhDloQ41lURQ4jwzq9iaggu_iNUQCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2571.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yKKs6XktPg8/YMDm2dBsxEI/AAAAAAAAMcI/XIge2ZhDloQ41lURQ4jwzq9iaggu_iNUQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2571.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pMkIqhh3DBQ/YMDm2fkhLTI/AAAAAAAAMcE/jnAHAgGNraULt-iEB2M-lCdO-W_iKLJwgCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2576.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pMkIqhh3DBQ/YMDm2fkhLTI/AAAAAAAAMcE/jnAHAgGNraULt-iEB2M-lCdO-W_iKLJwgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2576.jpg" /></a></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">Hands down, this is one of the most unique things you will ever see in your life. Our little boy recently got to cross it off of his list. My husband and I had both been to the Grand Canyon couple times before but never as family. We were excited to share this experience with our son, who is a very content little traveler. We were there for such a short time and during the pandemic. So we decided to keep it simple and just do sight-seeing. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">We loved exploring the South Rim of the Grand Canyon during fall season, and the weather is perfect time to go with our baby, who's only nine months old at that time. We will definitely go back for a full canyon adventure someday. Overall, such a fun experience for the whole family!</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bqqap95cLqA/YFlO0EvvhFI/AAAAAAAAMYs/8fD2vG-rF3I6MQCPtUN1Lwq8uSCLBOHEQCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2416.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bqqap95cLqA/YFlO0EvvhFI/AAAAAAAAMYs/8fD2vG-rF3I6MQCPtUN1Lwq8uSCLBOHEQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2416.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Our little Adventurer <span><a name='more'></a></span><br /><br /></span></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YrAmAtLaUvs/YFlO0LvMeUI/AAAAAAAAMYo/XIsdRM9_DGMhTr5uhItU3IxOV3UQdHJGgCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2423.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YrAmAtLaUvs/YFlO0LvMeUI/AAAAAAAAMYo/XIsdRM9_DGMhTr5uhItU3IxOV3UQdHJGgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2423.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Our little one is wearing his Kyte baby bodysuit in Spice. it blended well on the canyon at the background. </span></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IgjUIX70hUE/YFlO0E6lNEI/AAAAAAAAMYw/iGD5pzq7gYM2bQnVJk18atDS_fCXDxKkACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2426.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IgjUIX70hUE/YFlO0E6lNEI/AAAAAAAAMYw/iGD5pzq7gYM2bQnVJk18atDS_fCXDxKkACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2426.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FvLRhdj4Y6s/YFlO0VQrUOI/AAAAAAAAMY4/TDDBgGijh6QeEpFd05ZvBhULpqVwYHiQQCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2433.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FvLRhdj4Y6s/YFlO0VQrUOI/AAAAAAAAMY4/TDDBgGijh6QeEpFd05ZvBhULpqVwYHiQQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2433.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NTznJ2XJIYs/YFlO0jnm2eI/AAAAAAAAMY0/PYWOo8kXSxwLF5QloKoH5_Z_3v0VUQADACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2440.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NTznJ2XJIYs/YFlO0jnm2eI/AAAAAAAAMY0/PYWOo8kXSxwLF5QloKoH5_Z_3v0VUQADACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2440.jpg" /></a></div><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7PM3dFcP0NI/YFlO095DNiI/AAAAAAAAMY8/yjrP3LiFgFAnt5QQc_6S7P2M-_aa2w5TACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2443.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7PM3dFcP0NI/YFlO095DNiI/AAAAAAAAMY8/yjrP3LiFgFAnt5QQc_6S7P2M-_aa2w5TACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2443.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Such a beautiful place and quite grand I would say ;)</span></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JehUTbUSlE0/YFlO1DgkvzI/AAAAAAAAMZA/DkcIQFD9TgYGW5dcSYtwuswVtKJh6QgjQCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2451.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JehUTbUSlE0/YFlO1DgkvzI/AAAAAAAAMZA/DkcIQFD9TgYGW5dcSYtwuswVtKJh6QgjQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2451.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">Oh, The great Grand Canyon! In fact, I think the whole country had a rough winter. The recent massive snow storm brought the record low temperatures, ice and snow across the country - has left millions of Americans without power. </p><p><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">We got a good amount of snow over the weekend and had such a great time playing in it. We don't always get a lot of snow out here, so when it does come we make sure to enjoy it while it lasts. <span style="text-align: justify;">Whether you’re wrapped in a blanket on your couch or out playing in the snow, there’s wintry inspiration all around us, and always something to share with our family.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PRy3r3apPrA/YD0tzXvh8wI/AAAAAAAAMWI/TskkufeAFFcFv5ukg2nZNR1zhny-6S9awCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG-3298.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PRy3r3apPrA/YD0tzXvh8wI/AAAAAAAAMWI/TskkufeAFFcFv5ukg2nZNR1zhny-6S9awCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG-3298.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Making memories with family is what life is all about.<span><a name='more'></a></span></span></td></tr></tbody></table><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nO5qWGLkefU/YD2WvE-YtJI/AAAAAAAAMXQ/vcvsDJ9g_6swMdAA8Lstdr9U1K3lHV2HwCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG-3258.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nO5qWGLkefU/YD2WvE-YtJI/AAAAAAAAMXQ/vcvsDJ9g_6swMdAA8Lstdr9U1K3lHV2HwCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG-3258.jpg" /></a></div><br /><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kYcAlGUvkv8/YD0uOixWMwI/AAAAAAAAMWQ/9ZkiHvnVsNoVKD4nnPYDaMtpk9nOPbpZQCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG-3853.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kYcAlGUvkv8/YD0uOixWMwI/AAAAAAAAMWQ/9ZkiHvnVsNoVKD4nnPYDaMtpk9nOPbpZQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG-3853.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">This photo made my heart melt. Yosemite National Park is a place of incredible natural beauty that really should be experienced in person. There is so much to do and appreciate at Yosemite. Since we have a baby and can't take that hike so we went head to the lookout at Tunnel View. The views include Half Dome, Glacier Point, Sentinel Dome, and the El Capitan. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Yosemite has a day-pass reservation system during our visit because of COVID. The reservations are required in an effort to control the crowds and slow the spread of COVID-19. Is it a hassle? Yes, it is. However, we were fortunate enough to score a reservation last September 2020. We never experienced crowds this low in the valley. So you have to take the good with the bad. Masks are enforced. I can understand if someone takes off their mask to hike but the public areas and shops are half full and customers practice social distancing.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tUbUVrJzb6E/YBrHxGN2KGI/AAAAAAAAMUU/kHNOA-QgUpYOCpNsBlX6FfHkvtxGRVVzgCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2262.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tUbUVrJzb6E/YBrHxGN2KGI/AAAAAAAAMUU/kHNOA-QgUpYOCpNsBlX6FfHkvtxGRVVzgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2262.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2b273c; font-size: x-large; text-align: left;">Yosemite National Park is known for its beautiful scenery, gorgeous waterfalls, giant sequoias, and granite mountains & cliffs.<span><a name='more'></a></span><br /></span></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zJpgqrx3Ovk/YBrMfyUH2tI/AAAAAAAAMUg/GC7rWCZPYMYR-a4Zg8wLJL0cbqTKHG0KACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2298.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zJpgqrx3Ovk/YBrMfyUH2tI/AAAAAAAAMUg/GC7rWCZPYMYR-a4Zg8wLJL0cbqTKHG0KACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2298.jpg" /></a></div><br /> <br /><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6HILNrTdZMQ/YBmh320z-WI/AAAAAAAAMTo/IYtaIKZkhzssIelVxij9KVOYEJ1ARN8bACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_2286.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6HILNrTdZMQ/YBmh320z-WI/AAAAAAAAMTo/IYtaIKZkhzssIelVxij9KVOYEJ1ARN8bACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_2286.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">El Capitan is a beast. The photos you see in instagram, does not justify in person. These sculptures are beautiful, colorful and amazing. We came here late afternoon and it has small crowds. Lots of parking during that time too. To be honest, this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen during the pandemic 2020. You got to check it out and get your photos.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Seven Magic Mountains is about 10 miles south of The Strip, on Las Vegas Blvd, and parallel to Interstate 15. According to the website, this installation will remain until the end of 2021. We didn't spend much time there but we took enough time to enjoy this art installation while it's still standing. Worth stopping by for a photo opportunity if you are in Vegas.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eB4Ugi7mmVM/YAuSEAxvV7I/AAAAAAAAMQ0/4ur74v07E_kZedpRc1YNLuPBpLNQZTC-QCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1743.jpg" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eB4Ugi7mmVM/YAuSEAxvV7I/AAAAAAAAMQ0/4ur74v07E_kZedpRc1YNLuPBpLNQZTC-QCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1743.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than 25 ft. high.<span><a name='more'></a></span></span></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7XjTTfWfGBw/YAuTae-sDYI/AAAAAAAAMRY/78ExpdbwaJ8qChjf7Nvs6kpJvJnfN-Q3gCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1732.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7XjTTfWfGBw/YAuTae-sDYI/AAAAAAAAMRY/78ExpdbwaJ8qChjf7Nvs6kpJvJnfN-Q3gCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1732.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fyKiESsoGks/YAuTU2blHlI/AAAAAAAAMRU/ZiIVZe4OxzQmpJNkm9kChztI-I13xbeeACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1762.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fyKiESsoGks/YAuTU2blHlI/AAAAAAAAMRU/ZiIVZe4OxzQmpJNkm9kChztI-I13xbeeACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1762.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">One of the coolest thing's about living in a city like Las Vegas is that you never run out of things to do and see. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7V8Mgz-GAs4/YAuT-DPDmKI/AAAAAAAAMRo/-rz8B85AUIsQDf0_2zI_7C5MDqNKsIjCwCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1753.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7V8Mgz-GAs4/YAuT-DPDmKI/AAAAAAAAMRo/-rz8B85AUIsQDf0_2zI_7C5MDqNKsIjCwCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1753.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sPPUhP8a7_k/YAuT-PZG4II/AAAAAAAAMRk/GSNFLRcq-1sAYopXxJoYDFhuL-RUYqBDgCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1757.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sPPUhP8a7_k/YAuT-PZG4II/AAAAAAAAMRk/GSNFLRcq-1sAYopXxJoYDFhuL-RUYqBDgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1757.jpg" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: large;">It's a great place for a photo op, especially during sunset. The U.S.
highway 395 which runs east of the Sierra Nevada range would have to be
one of California's most spectacular drives. Coming from Ventura we stop by at Bishop, CA. Bishop is the second
largest town in the Eastern Sierra and a hub for outdoor enthusiasts
because there are plenty or recreational opportunities nearby for
climbers, hikers and cyclists. The town is surround by the high peaks of the Sierra’s to the west and
the White Mountains to the east. Needless to say then the town has
unbelievable views in whichever direction you look. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZIDh1E_qCK4/X8cDd0zJqAI/AAAAAAAAMLQ/9-tXQyn1FLIP9QO7nMtau0ZFsefDnOGNACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1536.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZIDh1E_qCK4/X8cDd0zJqAI/AAAAAAAAMLQ/9-tXQyn1FLIP9QO7nMtau0ZFsefDnOGNACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1536.jpg" /></a></div><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IBFHD6R2rlw/X8fHDIzCphI/AAAAAAAAMME/xAFWF7G-qBEAHdOsRafOg9m9mNyEPgtqgCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1540.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IBFHD6R2rlw/X8fHDIzCphI/AAAAAAAAMME/xAFWF7G-qBEAHdOsRafOg9m9mNyEPgtqgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1540.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y-IhZGSthqg/X8cDdr2ufAI/AAAAAAAAMLM/ASjSNv6RGpAr8OPnmITO06AGzobz0EGPACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG_1537.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y-IhZGSthqg/X8cDdr2ufAI/AAAAAAAAMLM/ASjSNv6RGpAr8OPnmITO06AGzobz0EGPACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_1537.jpg" /></a></div><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">We drove out to Inyo Craters which is between highway 395 and Mammoth Lakes Village. <div style="text-align: justify;">
As a first timer here, the " Unconditional Surrender Statue - Embracing Peace" was definitely a must-see stop in San Diego. This statue is very iconic, towering at 25 feet tall, the statue is larger than life. One of the lasting images of America's victory in World War II. The sailor kissing a nurse in the chaotic Time Square as the war ended that day. This statue was designed after a photo of these two strangers embraced in that famous hug and kiss as they celebrate the Victory of US over Japan. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H7GomW21xkk/X5bgGntwHKI/AAAAAAAAMIQ/aWD_i1ZUvH0LTkd5cip21BM5EoFaGgHuACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/IMG-1394copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H7GomW21xkk/X5bgGntwHKI/AAAAAAAAMIQ/aWD_i1ZUvH0LTkd5cip21BM5EoFaGgHuACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG-1394copy.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">
It is located in a great walking area where you will see a bunch of other
interesting things around such as the USS Midway and Salute to Bob Hope.I would recommend coming early enough probably before lunch to get prime spots in the parking lot right next to the statue and to ensure no one else is there fighting to get their pictures taken without anyone else in the way.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The statue is at a perfect location at the San Diego waterfront near the USS Midway and Salute to Bob Hope. I love when tourist or natives come and just enjoy this piece of art gracing San Diego waters saluting it with their own poses imitating the statue. </div>

It has a variety of areas from Badlands to Sandy washes to mountain high desert. Some people would call it the Colorado desert or the Sonoran desert you're almost on the western fringes of that area with Palm Springs. Basically you're in a desert environment so you have to be aware of having your own gear to survive if you need to. Common sense, you need to wear sunscreen and bring plenty of bottled water available and some sleeping gear in case your car gets stuck or broke. I would also recommend a basic first aid kit and of course some kind of cactus kit including needle nose pliers tweezers maybe duct tape to remove cactus needles.</p><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span></span></p><a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">My husband and I live in California coast and really enjoy getting outdoors, hiking, and discovering new places. I googled state parks near San Diego and Anza-Borrego was one of the first state parks that came up on my search. We got there around noon on a Saturday and left around 5:00 pm, obviously just a quick day trip. I wish we could've stayed longer! I was so jealous of those staying to camp. I imagine all the stars that could be seen at night while knowing you're in the desert is an incredible sight.</div><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">The Anza-Borrego Dessert is absolutely beautiful! It is truly a remarkable experience walking through this area. I felt I was in an old western film and could not stop taking pictures of the scenic nature all around.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2Eq3p1NagnA/X1rvVOF_pAI/AAAAAAAAMFE/zgnV7W3x2jA7m1S77R65L4gp-4MdvVg1gCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/002blog.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2Eq3p1NagnA/X1rvVOF_pAI/AAAAAAAAMFE/zgnV7W3x2jA7m1S77R65L4gp-4MdvVg1gCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/002blog.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9q-b_5Ki344/X1rvVCA-BVI/AAAAAAAAMFA/ng-JUb9GLTsYjoRjiaiIcLR6NxFeaCjwgCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/005blog.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9q-b_5Ki344/X1rvVCA-BVI/AAAAAAAAMFA/ng-JUb9GLTsYjoRjiaiIcLR6NxFeaCjwgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/005blog.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F7JLOcpNFhM/X1rvVOjWd-I/AAAAAAAAMFI/fpHK0xUw2bkc05RA1Crdv4DlyDp-jVhiwCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/006blog.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F7JLOcpNFhM/X1rvVOjWd-I/AAAAAAAAMFI/fpHK0xUw2bkc05RA1Crdv4DlyDp-jVhiwCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/006blog.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ijkeF5k2SdQ/X1rvVx7Fx0I/AAAAAAAAMFM/9717ZMtv17UOGksrgWoaUXd_qGmAt2fiACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/015blog.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ijkeF5k2SdQ/X1rvVx7Fx0I/AAAAAAAAMFM/9717ZMtv17UOGksrgWoaUXd_qGmAt2fiACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/015blog.jpg" /></a></div><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;">Be prepared for the heat, especially if you are coming from a coastal city. They have over 50 dinosaur statues and you can climb up into the mouth of the T-Rex, which was a lot of fun. The gift shop had some cool souvenirs too. You can stop for photos with the 2 main ones that you see, but there is also a dinosaur park just beyond. There is an actual Dino park called Mr. Rex's Dinosaur Adventure that you can pay $13 for an adult ticket to go through. We have not tried that yet.</div>

If you regularly visit the beach like us you may want to spend the money investing in a quality beach tent that can provide shade to an entire family. One benefit of the tent is it also contains a ‘floor’ as part of the tent. The floor serves as a good surface for the baby to play or sleep without the baby laying on sand or seashells. The tent is the most compact option.<br />
<br />

<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
We bought this beach tent last Summer through Amazon website and we love it. Lightweight, easy to put up. You can easily fit 2 beach chairs and a napping child in it. I'm impress at how well it withstood on 20 mph winds and keep my little one in the shade, and the wind from him. To put up for the first time was a little bit of a challenge only because it was the first time. I totally recommend it to everyone. I can’t wait to bring it to other beaches in California coast and see how long it will last. Happy summer!<br />

At the time of our visit in late April, the reserve was closed due to the coronavirus. However, there are lots of places along side the road that you can stop and take photos or videos that are equally covered with the beautiful flowers. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What a spectacular sight to see thousands of brilliantly orange poppies fluttering and dancing in the desert wind. It's absolutely splendid to see ground, that is usually desert land, sprout these majestic flowers each year. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Californians, poppies are the brilliant orange wildflowers that carpet our landscape in early spring. A field of these vivid blossoms swaying in the breeze is a real treat for the eye. </span></div>

What a lovely sight on God's green earth. I highly recommend seeing this at least once in your life. Beautiful way to take in fresh air and nature. Great for photo opportunities. Perfect for a family outing, group of friends or even a solo trip. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Friendly Tips:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
-Be mindful when walking and don't crush the poppies! There are plenty of breaks in between the poppies that you can walk on instead of stepping on these wonderful flowers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
- Be sure to bring a camera, water, and maybe check the weather. The desert landscape can be bitterly cold or aggressively hot in April when the bloom seems to peak. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is a MUST DO for every Californian, as far as I'm concerned. Thankfully, the desolation and the beauty of this place, mostly devoid of people, was the kind of social distancing we needed after several weeks of being safer (and bored-er) at home. </div>
