Everyone is familiar with theme parks or amusement parks, but have you ever heard of an adventure park? Adventure park is a place where family can come to explore and discover the outdoors. The  Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park is famous for that, located 12 miles outside the city limits of Gatlinburg , Sevierville or Pigeon Forge.

It is a family oriented adventure park that has beautiful easy to moderate trails. This trails will lead you across multiple unique bridges from log to covered and cable  bridges, including America’s Longest Swinging Bridge with gorgeous vistas and awesome waterfalls.

"Whispering Winds Covered Bridge",  is home to thousands of wishes where you can hang a wish to blow in the winds of prosperity.

You will  write your wish on this colorful ribbon and tie it to the ceiling of the covered wishing bridge. Then ring the gong to alert the gnomes and grant your wish. There were probably a thousand such wishes tied to this bridge.

Then you are going on a trail that leads to this amazing waterfalls -   the  Lost Mine Falls.

There is smaller Cliffhanger Swinging Bridge—only 30 feet long but which goes over the top of the falls, so you can peer 60 feet below into the pooling water.

Walking on top of the waterfalls on a swinging bridge is quite an adventure!

Hope you enjoy this post feel free to share it and don't forget to follow us for more adventures.

    1. Thank you sis I am pretty sure you and your family will have a great time. Stop by to Pigeon Forge and take photos with the up-side-down building with your family and visit Titanic as well. Check out the Smoky Mountain coupon if you plan to go to any of the attractions. I highly recommend the Clingmans Dome you'll see the Smokies mountain in a 360 view. Bring sweater and jeans it can be cooler on top :) Have fun sis.
