The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas

Sunday, February 11, 2018
Each resort along The Las Vegas Strip has its own ambience and characteristics, with the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino  being both classy and elegant. This hotel theme is Oceanic Island paradise set in the desert of Las Vegas. We really like the Mandalay Bay. Each hotel room has beautifully gold leafed windows.  When flying into or out of McCarran Airport, Mandalay Bay (and Luxor) are the most prominent Hotels you will see. Mandalay Bay is located on the far south end of the Strip almost directly across from McCarran Airport.

One of the attraction in this hotel is the Shark Reef Aquarium.  Here you will experience the undersea ocean of fantastic sights. A face-to-face with some of the earth's most fascinating creatures in North America's only predator-based aquarium and exhibit. See sharks of all kinds, along with saw-fish, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies and the rare golden crocodiles. It's a reasonable size aquarium considering that it is attached to the hotel.  Prices are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $14 for kids.

There is a monorail/ tram that connects the Mandalay Bay to the Luxor and the Excalibur. There is a long walkway bridge going towards the Luxor that leads to the Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Lots of very nice stores and s plenty of restaurants to choose from.

My favorite part of the Mandalay Bay is the pool or they called it  Mandalay Beach. The pool area is 11 acres some of the pool are heated and one of them is open all year. There is a big wave pool and sandy beach, really nice.

The lazy river called the Tropical River is perfect for relaxing the day away while floating on ring tube. We spend most of our time there. The entire atmosphere made you feel like you are at the real beach.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0  stars - Thank you for a fantastic stay, Mandalay Bay!

  1. I have walked through and done the aquarium there before, but never stayed there. Maybe next time I go to Vegas I will stay there?

  12. If only the Philippines is close to that place, I'd like to explore and have an adventure I'm sure I will always remember! My cousins and I are actually planning on a beach trip very soon and this is one way we destress and bond.
