Road Trip to Grand Canyon National Park | West Rim

๐Ÿ“Œ Part One of this Amazing Journey to the Canyon. Bucket list check off!

My husband and I are in Las Vegas for a 5-day vacation. I've heard that Grand Canyon West Rim is only few hours away from Vegas. We've always wanted to go to Grand Canyon and being this close we didn't want to pass it up. We decided to rent a  car and drive along at our own pace. Also we bring some refreshments for this trip.

On the way we stopped briefly at the Hoover Dam and do some sight seeing.  We enjoyed watching the desert scenery pass by.  Unfortunately we do not have plenty of  time to explore the whole area. Planning to go back again next year and this time we wanted to try the helicopter or boating tours.

Husband did a good job ๐Ÿ‘ in choosing this Red Mustang Convertible on this road trip.

One of the secluded road that we drove in Arizona.

This beautiful sunset reminds me of the Scripture "This too shall pass".

A sneak peek of a Canyon from a far.

  15. beautiful photos, I love Grand Canyon too, since it's just 7-8 hours drive from San Diego, it's one of the places in the West that we love to go for hiking. It's beautiful at the top, and gets more magical and mind boggling as you hike inside the canyon down to the river, just so many amazing rock formations and color layers, though have been there several times, but am always blown away. oh, I did not know there are Joshua trees near Grand Canyon, must have overlooked them during our drives. you in the red car looks gorgeous. :)

  17. Although there are only rocks, the beauty is still there. There maybe the absence of beautiful plants and colored items but still the rock formation stand out.
