Alona Tropical Beach Resort Panglao Island, Philippines

Saturday, April 16, 2016
On our two weeks vacation to my homeland Philippines , my husband  and I got a chance to explore this beautiful island of Bohol. This time we decided to go a little far from the city to get the best relaxation we both needed. A friend of mine recommended Alona Beach resort for a real tropical feel. No doubt it is indeed a tropical paradise for a snowbird  like us. The beach is located at the end of the stretch of Alona beach sandwiched by the more expensive class A resorts - Amorita on the right (hilltop) and Hennan on the left.

Magnificent for Romantic Get-Away

Amazing Tropical resorts set-up

We had a room close to the beach with a partial view of the water. The room was neat and cozy. Some guest complain about hot water on their shower (not warm enough or water not strong enough). I say we do not come here for that so no big deal plus the temperature outside is warm enough anyway. The pool was relaxing and never over crowded at least during our stay. The bar service at the beach lounge was great we basically ordered fresh Mango and Coconut juice almost everyday (we're spoiled).

If you want peace and quiet with an affordable accommodations near the shore, Alona Tropical Beach resort is your second home paradise.

Most of their rooms are made from bamboo and rattan

This is our room for 3 days sweet!

Enjoying his Tropical Mai Tai Cocktail

Best part of  Alona beach resort, peaceful and relaxing!

  1. Beautiful pictures! That place looks absolutely gorgeous! I'll have to look into that resort for maybe a belated honeymoon for me and my husband. I wonder if there's a "best time" to go during the year?
