Amazing Grand Canyon

Tuesday, May 1, 2012
It took us 3 hrs from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. I'd say it was a fairly easy drive - not much chance of getting lost especially if you have GPS navigation. The Grand Canyon is too amazing to describe our pictures cannot capture its glory. We were traveling across the US for years and saw some great sights, but I have to say the Grand Canyon took my breath away. So glad we finally made it, the scenery was a fantastic way to break up Vegas  The Grand Canyon is something that everyone should see at least once in their life. There are cool nature trails surrounded by huge trees, where you can glimpse the canyon from afar. Closer up, you can walk right to the edge and glimpse down, if you dare! It's just magnificent, gorgeous, and breathtaking, all those words just don't even begin to describe what you are seeing. It always amazes me that every show on America's National Parks puts the Grand Canyon as the #1 attraction. It is worth a visit.

  15. beautiful photos, I love Grand Canyon too, since it's just 7-8 hours drive from San Diego, it's one of the places in the West that we love to go for hiking. It's beautiful at the top, and gets more magical and mind boggling as you hike inside the canyon down to the river, just so many amazing rock formations and color layers, though have been there several times, but am always blown away. oh, I did not know there are Joshua trees near Grand Canyon, must have overlooked them during our drives. you in the red car looks gorgeous. :)

  17. Although there are only rocks, the beauty is still there. There maybe the absence of beautiful plants and colored items but still the rock formation stand out.
